Floods hit many parts of Malaysia in the early months of 2021. At the height of the monsoon season, thousands of people in various states were affected. Tropicana reacted swiftly by sending its senior management team to purchase and send necessities such as rice, noodles, mineral water, sanitary items and canned foods to provide immediate relief to flood victims.

Lee Han Ming, Group CEO of Tropicana Corporation Berhad shared, “We worked fast as a team, representing Tropicana Foundation, the charity arm of the group. On 9 January 2021, we went all the way to Pahang and delivered the necessities to support the ongoing relief efforts in cooperation with the state and government authorities.”

“We hope and pray for the safety and wellbeing of all those affected and the foundation will continue to support charitable efforts to do our part especially during times of unfortunate events in ensuring that no one is left behind in the community.”
